Mass grave unearthed in Balochistan
Quetta: A mass grave has been unearthed in Pakistan’s troubled Balochistan province, authorities said today.
The grave which was uncovered in the Tutak area of Khuzdar district contained an unspecified number of bodies, most of which were decomposed and beyond recognition, said Afzal Sarpara, Assistant Commissioner of the district.
“They appear to be a month old,” he said.
Meanwhile, a local official quoting medics said the bodies appeared to be mauled by wild animals.
“We do not know who they are and who killed them. It’s inhuman. We have started investigations,” the official said.
